INSEE Ecocycle

INSEE Ecocycle Lanka (Private) Limited, a subsidiary of Siam City Cement (Lanka) Limited under the INSEE Group, is a leader in industrial waste management in Sri Lanka. Founded in 1969 in Thailand, the INSEE Group operates throughout Southeast Asia, including Sri Lanka, and is well-versed in environmental services and waste management.

Since its inception in 2003, INSEE Ecocycle has pioneered co-processing in Sri Lanka, initially using tyre waste as an alternative energy source for INSEE Cement’s Puttalam kilns. Over time, it has evolved into a primary waste management solutions provider for various industries in Sri Lanka.

Driven by increasing demand for sustainable waste management, INSEE Ecocycle has invested over LKR 3 billion, expanding its annual co-processing capacity by 100,000 metric tons and aiming for a target of 1,000,000 metric tons. By 2023, the company supported over 1,000 enterprises, delivering customized waste management solutions aligned with corporate sustainability goals.
